Theme: Exploring the interpretation of J.S. Bach's music on the Contius organ of Leuven, covering aspects like registrations, articulation, and more.

Theme: Organ sounds in a modern city, an anachronism?

3-5.30 pm Masterclass II – Jean Ferrard (AD Brussel) & André Ferreira (AD Mafra)
Theme: Works by Abraham van den Kerckhoven and other composers, edited by Ut Orpheus as ECHOM 1 (ed. Jean Ferrard) in relation to his contemporaries in Spain and Portugal, such as Coelho, de Araujo and da Conceiçāo. Attention will go to the 'medio registro’, the Batalhas, ornamentation and glosas as also described in Portuguese/Spanish sources.
Repertoire: Pedro de Araujo, Diogo da Conceição, Manuel Rodrigues Coelho en Abraham van den Kerckhoven.

Theme: Organ repertoire in the Prince-Bishopric of Liège, located between the Southern Netherlands and the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation. A direct link with Rome and Italian organ music?
Repertoire: Liber Fratrum Cruciferorum Leodiensium (ed. Ut Orpheus / J. Ferrard), Carolus Luython, Henry Du Mont, Lambert Chaumont, Giovanni Gabrieli en Domenico Zipoli.
